Have you tried everything for chronic pain or tension, yet your body still won’t let go?
I know that feeling. I’ve lived with chronic pain since I was twenty — a herniated disc in my neck, and an old abdominal ache from an infant surgery that never fully quieted down. Over the years I learned to work with my own body: self-myofascial release with my hands, foam rollers, and balls, and a long list of somatic practices I tried on myself before I ever offered them to anyone else.
For the past five years I’ve also been working through deeper wounds — from childhood and early relationships — the kind that don’t resolve on their own. Along the way I’ve explored more than fifty modalities, from talk therapy to breathwork to Daoist inner alchemy. Different people resonate with different things, and I’m honest that my style won’t be right for everyone.
Bodywork is not massage. It’s slower, more attentive, and aimed at helping your nervous system feel safe enough to release what it’s been holding.
I currently offer:
- Craniosacral therapy (in-person) — gentle, subtle work with the body’s core rhythms
- Intuitive bodywork (in-person) — following the body’s cues to where it wants attention
- Thai massage (in-person) — assisted stretching and pressure along the body’s energy lines
- Guided Daoist inner-alchemy meditation (in-person or online)
I don’t make medical claims or promise to fix anything — I offer presence, skilled hands, and a space for your body to do its own work. I travel full-time, so if you’re interested in in-person bodywork, include your location when you reach out.
“I was in a bad bike accident and Marcus calmed the back of my skull where my nerves were on fire from the shock.
I saw him again a couple weeks later for a follow up and his calm energy was a welcome focus for my healing. What a treat he is! I highly recommend.”
